Default This years hurricane forecast

As brought to you by a bunch of crazy fisherman that like plodding around in the dark in search of swordfish.

This is my forecast please answer poll and give your own forecast.

This year's hurricane season will only be average. That is average for the last 2yrs.16 topical storms 10 hurricanes 6 very bad ones.No power at least 2 times for a min of 5 days at a time.6 bouts with hurricane related anxiety.10 more trips to publix and or Home Depot.4 or 5 sleepless night worrying about how much more my home owners insure will go up.Last months fpl bill over $400.At this rate next year will be over $600.Gas will be $4 a gal soon so who can afford to run a gen set.My home value will drop because who will want to move to FL with those storms.who am I kidding they will keep coming until they build over every inch of ground till FL falls off the map.

As soon as the next storm pops up every news station will show nothing but the storm location and film of Katrina aftermath. In the corner of your TV will be films of people getting plucked from the roof tops again.

This is my forecast of the coming hurricane season please share yours and answer poll.

Hey QQ,

I am thinking 3-4 once it get cranking this year that will hit S FL, not major storms just enough to get the plywood out and up. Look at how many lows have formed around South Florida already and every low and or wave has allready hit us. Hurricanes should follow the same pattern just hope they do not get above a Cat 1 before they hit FL, otherwise I am headed for the mountains until December.

Moving to Costa Rica is looking more and more appealing everyday given the ridiculous amount of money it costs to live here now.

They say the first hurricane in the gulf this year will raise crude oil by 5 to $10 a barrel and gas $.50 in a day or two.

Costa almost sounds good.Since they seem intent to bring this country down to a 2nd rank nation might as well go to a third on it's way up to a 2nd

Default Bowling Alley effect

I'm just hoping that being on an Island that is only 118 acres on the edge of the Carribean will minimize the chances of getting wacked ! Its like being a bowling pin in a bowling alley. wooo watch out here comes another one, swish, miss and here comes another one !
The people on the Weather Channel smile about Hurricanes, I get sick ! I remember when St John was getting hit in 1996 by Bertha and the Weather Channel says "its only a small Hurricane, only 90 mph" I wanted to ask the guy if he ever tried standing on the hood of his car going down the highway at 90 !
Why do they allow morons to go out in the storm anyways ? Cause its news ! I got news for ya, when Hurricane Marilynn was screaching about 140 mph and I had to go out on deck, it was stupid ! All you can do is hold on. Next one to hit here, I'm staying on land !
I think 10 named storms, 2 biggies ( hopefully they will ALL stay out to sea)
Good luck this H season
Happy Hunting Bills
