Default My Tortugas trip

Well all I can say is hb this trip was great. We started of a day late because of the weather so tues morning hung over got to the boat @ 10:00 got the boat loaded went for gas and bait ,got talking to the comm stone crab guys and hooked up with about 100 claws for $20 .Ok now were off to fish @11:15 around 12:00 or so start trolling 2 cedar plugs, deep diver and a skirted bally.First fish was 1 hr later it was a 12-15 pds cero mac nice fish but ididnt come to catch these guys. Then nodda for a few hrs, then stopped at a shrimp boat and traded a 18 pack of bush beer that someone had left and about 25-30 hooks for around 40 pds of of prime key west pink shrimp some were like prawns. Now after stuffing myself to the top with crab and shrimp the boat stops and its on.lines were out @ around dark. The night starts a little slow.but we have super chum shrimp, manheaden oil, oatmeal, fresh ballyhoo, squid, pilchards and 30 boxes of normal chum.So after 2 cups of coffee well Idrank one and was wearing the other, the yts started showing up small at first then big flags start and then a nice grouper or 2 finds there way into the fish box.Now the bite stopped and everyone is getting cut of nothing that a piece of wire and a 2 pound blue runner wont cure.Mr.lemon shark was a big hit, we had two people from romania never fished or been on a boat so they took pics with jaws  meanwhile some thing picks up another runner,a king around 25 then another around 30+ then big daddy 45-50 .Now its time to move spotts before light. We get set up 1 hr before light and the biggest yts ive ever caught.6:30 or 7:00 the goruper bite turns or and 6 people for atleast 2 hrs non stop groupers ive never seen this before alot of 20-25 pounders and acouple of real bigons,we had a 50wide full drag with 130# spectra and got our asses handed to us never found out what, but it did take us into the rocks.Mr jew fish o iam sorry golith grouper ?
Later in the day after the grouper fest we went to Ft.Jefferson Iwas there we i was a punkkid wait i still am.What a great time i learned a lot like how to chum up the nurseshark for my non snorkeling friends they have never been in the ocean i made it a great experence for them I told them it was like a cow on rollerskates Ialso told them to try and hand feed the 8 ft cuda live mangrove snapper   and they got to see what sea cucumbers look like , the one girl was impressed
Back to the boat and to the fishing the 2nd night filled the boat with tys and a few groupers o yea i got 3 mango snappers that were huge.Next day fished in the am ssdd .The one thing that we didnt catch dophin did see one or 2 but I didnt care. FIRST CLASS FISHING TRIP. THANKS CAPT JOHN www.fishandy.com

First add them to one of the fishing galleries. Then I can take care of it. Basically, though, hit the Img tab, post the picture location including the .jpg, and close the image tab.
