Not looking good. Of course, it's a long-term forecast. But so far... no swording windows for the southeast this week. Well, maybe tonight if you don't mind 3-4ft and stiff west wsw winds.

UB: Good thing you got out when you did! That is one of the worst long term forcasts I have seen all winter. The 50 will be bow to stern with boats on the next nice night.I feel sorry for all us sword addicts families for the next week.A addict without there fix can get very nasty      this time next week we will be saying 5ft to 7ft looks ok to me.Its only blowing 20kn out of the southeast thats a fair wind lets go.

hahaha... it's all "relative" my friend. 5-7 certainly IS nice, if you're used to Opelio crab fishing in Alaska!

If we glue your boat together with a few others we could put together a 100ft boat. Then 5-7 would be doable.

www.buoyweather.com I take the graph from the site, then add the data time, gps location, and window highlights in PhotoShop before I post it.

It's not 100% all the time, but it seems to be more accurate than most forecasts... especially at predicting changes in the conditions. Although the changes seem to occur 3-4 hours sooner on the 50 than near shore.

By the way... here's the latest graph, as of 3/10/06 at 11:30am.

Looks like a window may open Tuesday for Southeast FL.

We are heading out with crew on Saturday night. Winds turning to the east in the afternoon should take a few feet off the top and blowing 10-15 instead of the SE 15-20. Yea i've done this trip before. My 32 Donzi puts a good crushing on easterlies. Put the paratech out and sit back for as long as your willing.
