Where to start drift

I know about the 48-50 line...But how far of a drift would you start south of fowey light if heading out through govt cut? ...

Ive caught all my fish straight out of government cut, between the cut and Haulover....

Figure on a 4knt drift, and multiply that by however many hours you plan on setting up for.
Basic "dead reckoning."
