Default PURPLE FEVER

I thought it would be appropriate to name this post PURPLE FEVER as on this trip we did have the PURPLE FEVER...

Our recent trip back to Florida was very eventful! Greg had to work the Miami Boat Show, so I flew out to fish with our friends up in Pompano. Greg's Mom and Dad flew in on the same day as I did and they went right out and went Tarpon Fishing in Miami. My mother in law was on her second Tarpon and it was about a 90#R, she had been fighting this fish for about 45 minutes when she began having bad chest pain. They brought the boat in and got her an asprin and to the ER. Yes it was a heart attack, and thank god she is doing great now! It is always good to carry asprin with you at all times!! Once we got the A OK, and Mom was fine we headed out to night fish for the Swords. We had a great night! We were 2 for 3! I lost the first one at leader, Greg got this one, estimated 120...

We put the baits back out and I get hooked up again to a estimated 80#R which we tagged. This fish tail walked right towards the boat with the hydroglow light under him!! A sight I will have forever!!
It was a lot of fun, Thank You Burt for taking us out and getting the job done!!! I LOVE your new boat!!!

Speaking of boats, in Florida they really don't need a flybridge boat and most people have center console boats. I am no expert on boats but from the first time I rode in a SEA VEE I feel in love!! These boats are the finest in every aspect!! I mean just look at this machine...with Triple motors and the finish work is just beautiful!!!!

We were cruising at 40- 50 in some ruff water too! Just an amazing ride! Ariel if you need a sales rep in Cali, I'd be happy to help out!!

One thing you must take with you to Florida, especially if you are riding in a center console, rain gear!! Even though it is warm and sunny you still get those sudden down pours!! So don't forget your rain gear!!

I know of a couple of other people were in Florida from Cali that got the Swordfish too, Congrats to Bill and his Dad, sorry the BIG ONE got away, you'll get him next time!!

Best Fishing!
Dara
