[b]FIRST TIME Swordfishing of Miami... Any Suggestions???[/b

I will be on my first trip in the middle of next week... My deph finder max depth is 1000 ft... Will this be sufficient? Do the tides or moon phases play any role in swordfish tendancies? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated... Thanks and best of luck to all.

run east to the 50 line put the baits in the water and wait.That is the best way to start the rest you will find out for yourself.Some people like conditons one way some guys like it another. Go and see what works for you. All the other stuff you can find somewere on this site. Good luck get a big one.

Thanks quack...I have been reading everyones ideas...but I saw nothing in regards to the moon phases and was wondering if it made a difference...But thanks for the feedback

It seems like everyone likes dif moon phases. A good rule of thumb is if its 2 foot or less go. Right Zach :lol:
