Default no wind last night

We gave it a try last night, seas were great, but the wind died so much that we couldn't get all our lines out. The sea anchor seemed useless...we ended up only fishing 2 tip rods and 1 balloon.
Did anyone else have any luck with their lines? Any advice?

Same thing here with the lines... we only fished 5 rigs. Fish came on the 75ft with a squid and turned out to be 58 inches. So it's now only 9pm and call it a night. Funnnnky drift for sure!

Thanks Jeff and Kevin for a night out

Wind dropped to nearly nothing Saturday night too. Jugs wouldn't drift off, so I just idled forward to set the spread out. I use the same technique when ballooning for sails with live baits. But that's mostly just to get away from the baits, which like to stick near the boat.

It sounded like the spin factor was a little worse offshore, we stayed inside a little went 2/2 about 120 & 100 lbs. We let them swim for another day. Set the baits while moving, it works well.
