Default Swording RoleCall Week of November 7th

I will be out tomorrow in full force after seeing that 349lb fish caught. He also lost another big fish and had 2 other nice hookups. Sounds good to me. Anyone else heading out tomorrow before the wind kicks up?

Mike

Hooked into 2 nice fish on thursday night. Both took blue runners at 300feet. We lost the first one and then boated a 90lb fish. Pictures soon to come. We also had all our baits slashed out on the jugs. Seems to be heating up.

Team Swordie, What kind of drift anchor did you get? Do you know of someone I can get a reasonable deal from?

Hannaman,

I made mine out of a canvas tarp I had laying around. I set it up just like the parachute idea discussed here. I tested it out a week ago, but there was no current or wind, so couldn't really tell. If it doesn't work out, looks like I will be spending the big bux.

A friend of mine bought one for $900 including the shackle (which alone cost $200). Definetly kicked ass and kept us in the zone like discussed in a different thread.

Once this wind dies, I will be out there quite frequenlty with all these reports of 200lb++ fish.

When the next tournament comes around I would like to add a captain such as your self to my fishing team. I will call you when the time comes for the tournament and charter you out on my boat..

Tight lines

I was thinking of making one for myself also. I was able to find one by para-tech, a 15 footer, for 575.00 at www.landfallnavigation.com I have a trip Thursday night. I hope it lays down by then.
