Is anyone finding a favoritism to a specific light color?
When we go fishing, we have a green u/w 4' flourescent below the boat and try to mix the battery powered electrolumes between green and blue, sometimes contrasting a flasher into the mix. (No flashers on live baits.) No specific reason other than that has been the past presentation. Any advice on best practice presentation? ? preferred colors down deep? ? flashers, at what depths, if at all? Main U/w boat light? Is blue or white any better than green? RiskTaker |

Light color is obviously important but it's always good to fish a varied spread of colors in order to find out which is going to be producing the best on any given night. We usually start out with a mix of blues and greens and a few multi colors. Most of our bites come with mixed colors but sometimes its only the greens or the blues. Also a single strobe works great when the moon is very bright, especially on a live bait  .
