Default Opinions on circle hooks

I just recently started trying 16/0 circle hooks on swords with some success. I was wondering if anyone else uses circle hooks regularly on swords and what you guys thought.

We like to mix it up. I prefer cricle hooks(esp. on smaller squid) because if I catch a Pup, the hook always end up in the corner of the mouth. I hate seeing a gut hooked pup limp away with it's gut hanging out of it's mouth.

Capt. Mitch uses them too(which is why I use them). They seem to work just fine for him. Also, Team Flatsnick's first Swordfish was caught on a 14/0 Circle hook! They work!

Yeah they had always worked so well for me while bait fishing for yellowfin tuna in the canyons. My friend mentioned using them and we tried them and while we only hooked one fish on the circle hook, it was hooked solid.

Where do you fish out of?

I used to fish that area out of Boca Inlet last year. I don't have a boat down here (my family has a 29 luhrs twin diesel in NJ) so I pretty much fish where ever I can get out. I brought down some of the internationals I use for tuna fishing up North and respooled them for swords.
