Default Day time swording

Out here in Diego Garcia we have a similar current situation as there is in Venezuela during certain parts of the year.... well we are going to give it a try on saturday since last weekend we found the mother of all sea mounts out here.... this jooker goes from reall really deep to within 600ft of the surface back down to atleast 4,000 ft in the span of a mile... within 2 miles of shore also!

My question is are there any of you that have experience with the way they do it in Venezuela that would be willing to help a little... since it is pretty limitted on the amout of lead we have out here I'm going to be using rocks for weights.... I have glowsticks only so that will have to do.... I know this might sound sorda stone age..lol... but I gotta make due with what I got!

Thanks in advance

Go for it Capt! I know of a few guys that have been baiting them on the surface, and the stick boats are still doing well... why not try for them deep.

Keep us posted.

Depends on the type of glow sticks and the depth on the mount you will be fishing. At 4,000 feet all glow sticks will be DOA. Cyalumes good to around 400 (Give or take a few) and duralumes can go 1,000 (again give or take). Interested to hear how it goes!...DUKE
