Default fishing buddy

My son and I are new to sword fishing and have not had much luck. We have read all of topics in the forum and have tried a couple of times to no avail.

We could use a buddy. Or be able to follow someone out, we don't think its what we are doing we thinks its where we are doing at. We go out of Port Everglades. We have become members of S.E. Sword fish club and are looking forward to attending our first meeting.
Please help!

Thanks and look forward to hearing from everyone

Give us a bit more information.

If you are out of port everglades, you can't miss the light sfrom the boats when you get out there, but a rule of thumb is to be near the

26.00 and the 50.00 Get in this area and set you drift up.

Are you using live bait? If so, switch to primarliy dead baits and jusst fish the one live bait on a shallow rod.

Another key is to be out there when they are snappin Everyone puts up skunks, but you should be able to get one as the winter approached with realtively ease

Good luck
