Default HOW DEEP SHOULD I PUT MY HYDROGLOW?

AT WHAT DEPTH SHOULD I PUT MY hydroglow?I HAVE ENOUGH CORD TO DROP IT 10-15 FEET UNDER THE BOAT,ARE THERE ANY BETTER LIGHTS THAT ARE AFFORDABLE?

Most of the lights out there are the same. I use the Electrical Storm light because it has a 50' cord which helps out in the winter when there's bait around and they won't come up to the surface. It is a little less expensive than the hydroglow and comes in blue, red, green, and white.

SFL, I also use the electric storm light. I put it about 15 feet down. I got my electric storm light from bluemarlinchronicles.com. You can also get it directly from their website http://www.swordfishlight.com. I received 2 hydroglows by Fedex with the bulbs broken. I believe the electric storm light is less prone to breaking because there is more space between the bulb and the outer plastic cover. Good luck, Al.[/url]

I use the light made by Rumblefish it is only 2 1/2 feet long and throws off as much light as the other 2 brands. They come in blue, green, blue/green and blue/white combinations. You can get them from Bluemarlinchronicles or Tek at reelroshop. Our past 7 fish or so have been caught while using Rumblefish lights.

Thanks for the info on the two other lights.I checked the website and it looks like a great system! I bought a green magnet and have had some good results on our last trip.We put a 5lb weight on it and it went down just below the surface. It only cost 159.00 but the light u reccomended has more to it with 50ft of line and the built in weight.Scott does your light manufacturer have a web site?

SFLMAN, you can get the electrical storm light from Tek. His # is 561-654-7873. Let him know Sabiking (Marc) gave you his #.
