weekend in westend

I know this site focuses on swords but were going to west end this weekend. Were going to do a lot of bottom fishing and hopefully some tuna fishing. I have never caught tuna at west end. has anybody ever got tuna over there? Any advice on the best method and is this a good time of year to try it or will I be wasting my time?

Also were going bait fishing tonight. It will probably be difficult because of the moon. Has anyone been out baitfishing recently and how was it?

Monday night bait was a plenty at the baitballs of John U, Luoyd park. Plenty of Gogs and pilchards.
