Has anyone used a small BFT for bait? Is it any better than squid? Would they be too lively and tangle your lines? Sorry so many questions, some that may sound obvious, but I am learning as I go. Lots of BFT where I am going.

It doesn't hurt to try. The swordfish feed on what is in the area. Who knows you may wind up hooking a monster sword, if not maybe a nice mako. I know some people that have used small dead bonita and hooked up on swordies, good luck.
