don't know what the weight was. I gutted it and slimed it out there.
A guy who has seen his share of swords on the grand banks thought it was 220 dressed. He's usually pretty accurate on weights. I thought in the neighborhood of 250-270 round. We caught it on a Gamakatsu live bait heavy duty hook (6/0) on 80lb. flouro. the fish passed up our 4 sword baits and took the small live squid meant for tuna 60 feet down. 45 minutes before it met the harpoon dart.
