Default LongLine Question

How do they reconnect parted-off mainline? ...Knot? Crimp? Something else? Just curious.

A "Coņo knot"? Does that involve Latin music?

But really... an 800lb mono-to-mono knot can't be easy to tie.

No! Disco... music.

I would think they would put a heavy duty swivel and crimp it together.

blood knot.

not easy when the line is new (stiff), but after a set or 2 it slides together with little problem.

Default Blood knots are the best!!!

you can tie them on he run and they don't too much catch in a guide or get frayed in a block...

Blood Knot! I almost said that. That knot is old school for sure. Never thought it would slide together with that thick, line.
