Default wish you would have been at the swordfish extravaganza don't you...!!?..

I think someone was filming it also . I don't know if the video can be begged, bought or traded for of the meeting but Skip Smith on here can answer that for you. basically any edge down there in 1600' daytime and night should work for you. but the swordfish club just had one hell of a meeting on swordfish and how to catch them. you can also go to bud n marys and charter the stanzicks boat for a day and learn more in one trip than any post or book.

I'd help you from Key Largo up, but I'm not that fimilar with that area.

I did read in a earlyer post that a group caught some sizable fish, going out just south of Duck Key(Sorry, no numbers where posted). I think thats in your area.

try a search on Islamorada and read old Fishing Reports.

Run straight out to Floyds. Long run though at 30+. Good luck!

I've never fished for swords in the keys but looking at a topography map, see
http://oceancurrents.rsmas.miami.edu...fla-keys-2.pdf
I would fish around the 500 meter isobath, especially downstream/NE of
the tightly packed isobaths in the map. cheers, O
