We went 0 for 1, had a real nice fish on around 8:45, got everything cleared, still peeling line with a lot of drag, fish turned, jumped and he was gone. Our bite was in shallow, on the deep squid. Beautiful night, wind calmed down on the way out. Had tinkers under the boat most of the night. Pulled lines in at 10:00 pm breeze died and went SW. GS edge was in about 700', and the drift was smokin' n-ne at 5 knots.

We were also 0-1 our fish hit a green squid on a 100' tip rod. The hit came at about 10:00. We were covered in Sardines all night.
