Drifted from North Lauderdale to Deerfield Friday night. Zip, zero, nada. The ocean was LOADED with phosphorescent plankton, but no other visible life whatsoever.

We'll be out there droppin' in the morning.

I'm about to head out the door for the day, and don't have time for a full forecast update. But here's a snapshot...

OH CRAP! Don't shoot the pseudo-weatherman! Not sure why, but Buoyweather is WAY off today! It's nasty out there in the stream. Solid 15kt+ NW wind in the morning and N by early afternoon when we headed in. 3ft+ short waves on top of short swells. Too bad I wasn't able to warn Pumpkin. Hope it lays down for him this evening.

Did 3 daytime sword drops in the slop.
1st Drop = nothing, but the new rig worked flawlessly (mp3000!!!!)
2nd Drop= mauled bait and teeth marks in my PVC weight!
3rd Drop= 4ft Longnose Lancetfish
