I may be moving to either north or south carolina. What is the status of their offshore swordfish fishery? Is it as good as Florida or is it a seasonal bite?

There are Swords there but, there are other fish that are just as entertaining in the N.C. area that are just as cool to catch in my opinion. Do not know much about S.C.
Are you Canyon fishing out of the Cape on your 31?

I currently have to go 80-100 miles to canyon fish in my 31'. Will look forward to a shorter run. I dont know much about the offshore scene in the Carolinas, other than the giant bluefin off NC. Was hoping to get some info on the offshore fishing action from either state.
