Default Yellowfin (boat) Photos - Sunday Afternoon

Does anyone know who this is? A 32 or 34 Yellowfin with triple Mercs. FL1637RY. There was a name below the yellowfin logo, but the wake blocked it from the camera. It was heading towards Hillsboro inlet Sunday afternoon. Looked like they were coming back from some daytime drops. I snapped a few shots as they went by. The sun was on the wrong side for good photos, so no great shots... but I just figured I'd forward what I did get to the owner.

If you were on that boat... we were on the 55' Ocean Yacht "Last Call".

after looking at the pic it bring to mind something ive been thinking about for a long time .There has got to be a better way of running with your electrics or stowing them away on long runs .Anybody come up with some creative ideas yet ?

Default Reel Cover

I haven't used the new LP1200 yet...but I did figure out a way to protect it on the long runs to the fishing grounds.
I had an old Cannon Downrigger cover laying around the garage, so I wrapped it over the LP and it fit like a glove.
Now the rod will ride in the center leaning post rocket launcher (protected from the wind and salt spray by the console), and the reel will have the Downrigger cover on it for any wild spray that may blow in sideways around the console.

That's Jack's Yellowfin. Send me the pics and I can get them to him. He lives on the next block over.
