Default Kite - Helium Balloons

I have never used helium balloons to keep up Kites - I usually elect to slow troll. If I want to use a balloon but I don't want to buy or rent a helium tank, can I fill one up the night before and will it stay well inflated until the next morning and throughout the day?
Thanks for any input!

Yah it will but if you go to party City you can pick up a small diposable tank for like 20 bucks to keep on hand for a long while and if the kite thing doesn't work for youthen at least you can take tokes of it and screw with the telemarketers when they call

Kapoc has it right..go to a local party store and buy the disposable helium tank. Thet look just like a regular LP gas tank...only lighter
I also picked up a couple of large mylar ballons to tie to the back of the kite.
If you find a site for a good reusable balloon, post it up.

I stock the 40 inch balloons.

The party city tank will fill about 2 balloons to 36 inches.
