Default Anyone going to BMC Sept. 11?

We are going to Blue Marlin on Sep. 11-14. Apparently, the Tuna have finally started showing up. There is nothing better than catching the late Tuna bite and then setting up a sword drift before heading back to port . Marvin was well aware of the SFC discount. Deep droping has also been great up North

You been swording off there before? Ever pull any up? I was thinking about trying some over that way. Who said the tuna were running? Was a poor summer

I spoke to the guys at Tuppens and they fished with Greg last weekend and caught 6 or 7 on the late bite. The smallest was 50# from what I was told. I have not tried swordfishing over there yet but I have a few places that I want to try and they are conveniently located near the Tuna grounds. I have seen pictures of monster fish caught in the 70's off of west end but when asking around, not many people have much info. I figure it is worth a shot and if I am successful, Iwill let you know. This Summer has been very poor for Tuna fishing but I was told by a marine biologist that the straits are a little cooler this year and that has slowed down their migration . I guess that sounds logical. The deep dropping has been really good and I have caught more big Dolphin over there this year than any year that I can remember. Spearfishing has also been above average. Lobster have been scarce but with these storms should change that.
