We got off to a great start, out the inlet at 6:00 am. WE set up a troll headed south down beach line , hooked a cuda immediatley , I normally would have kept him for my neighbor, but planned a long day so I cut him abreak and let it go.
We caught an excellent blue runner and then a couple bonitas, we even had a hook up on a sailfish, before we got down to port everglades. had the bonitas we wanted to do a dep drop so we headed east , started first drop @ 1500 feet on a fresh bonita strip nothing after 30 minutes, moved out to 1800 feet same set up all looked and went perfect , but not even a wack?

I am not sure what is up the moon, the winds ?

with all the luck catching the bait, thought today was going to be a good day. I guess now we should have tried other baits , Squid, maybe the blue runner they work good at night , we used the same boninta strip on the two drops. ran short on time my friend had to get home by 2:00 pm the drive out and back are a bummer to only make 2 drops.
