I've been real busy lately, and haven't been online much. Look for the new forecast thread I posted for this weekend.

Nightcrawler, I think folks are watching the weather real close before
deciding if they are going. Last fridays the forecast was for< 2' but it
was like 5-6' for thr trip out there.

If anyone has room, I might be convinced to go out there tonight.
cheers, arthur

Buck thanks. Yeah i haven't seen you post much. I guess that means you're working hard and making dough so that's good.

PO, A friend flew in last night and said it was looking pretty slick ( but no weedlines). Should be sweet tonight.

I'll be heading out this afternoon in search of sails and blackfins. I have a bunch of customers that have SLAYED them this week. I hope the fishing continues to be hot this afternoon.

I went today, Fri, caught a dolphin on the way out, did a few drops, got tight on 2 and lost um both, first was a mullet came back sliced almost in 2, pole bent over and off to the races, about 200' up and it went slack, next was a squid, same again, pole bent over and tight again, about 200' up and he was gone again. all in all it was a great day and a lot of fun with some great guys.

Went 0/2 on swords. Had one that we thought was hooked solid and taking lots of drag than nothing
then later on to ad insult, the flat line squid (no light, no weight) fished outside the light gets nailed
than nothing, reel it in slow and see a big bull following in the light, by the time we get a bait out he's gone

The Catch my drift said he had 3 quality fish on and ALL came unglued, and many slashed baits....

SIDE NOTES:
. Saw a BM free jumping on the way to the swordgrounds.

. FIrst time fished 2 sworlitghts (green and purple/green). Looked really good and had classic bait balls
at the light pretty much the whole night. The new Hubbell plug set-up worked flawlessly!!

. got stoped by the Coasties just outside Hillsboro, they said they had a report of a plane went down.
I think that just an excuse for stoping us.
We talked fishing for a few minutes and we were on our way. No safety check, no id check. Just a take care fellows!!

Not much of a catching report but that's all i got...enough action that I'm itching to get back out

Not very good. We had a case of too many chiefs, but not enough Indians. In about a hour and half, we went 1/3. At one point, there was a pod of at least 4 fish under our baits, but nothing. It was very frustrating. To add insult to injury, one of my kite reels wasn't working, then my knot came undone on my other one and nearly lost the kite. After that, we called it quits.

Not a good afternoon to say the least.
