Default 50-Line Forecast: Feb 13-17

50-line forecast for the Hollywood to Boca area.

As of Thursday, February 14th, 5:35pm
Looks like Friday is the only half-decent window to be out swording. Solid 3ft at 5 seconds and winds from the ENE is not great, but certainly fishable into the night. Saturday has gone down the tubes. 4ft/4sec and 18kt NE winds most of the daytime and into the evening.

But what do I care? I'll be in DAYTONA Speedway's Infield for the race weekend!!!!

Cool deal with them VIP seats. We rented an R/V and will be staying in the infield all weekend. Not sure of the lot number, but somewhere within that yellow rectangle at the northern corner of Lake Lloyd. It's gonna be a hell of a time! Hopefully we'll run into some of the folks we met last year... especially the guy with the moonshine.

YES. We toss the bean bags up on the roof, along with a TV, and a cooler of beer. We can usually see the cars on about 70% of the track. What we can't see, we watch on the TV. It's really the most fun way to experience a race weekend. No crowds, no long walks from the parking lot to the track, you're not crammed elbow-to-elbow with Bubba and his burly wife in the stands, and no lines at the concessions or pissers. (the R/V has a bathroom, and we bring plenty of beer) Parties all night long. Parties all day long. Everyone brings too much food, so everyone's willing to let ya try whatever they're cooking. You can pretty much stop at any group and make friends or rivalries based on what driver's flag they're flying and what driver's shirt you're wearing. And when in doubt, just yell "JUNIOR!" or "JEFF GORDON'S A QUEER!" and everything's aaaight. It's truly redneck bliss!

It would truely be redneck bliss if you installed a striper pole on the top of your RV.Then bring in some talent to work your pole.
