Default 50-Line Forecast: Feb 7-10 - New & Improved!

50-line forecast for the Lighthouse Point area.

As of Saturday, February 9th, 4:37am
Saturday... Again, the forecast looks great, with light east winds and 1ft, medium period waves. But a late night is not advisable. There's a sharp increase in wind & waves as the winds swing to the NNE after midnight.

Slow night, but we did got a 55" around 7pm. It was the infamous TUNA DEVIL that reeled it in.

Actually it took him a little longer then expected. I think it was 6 minutes, and a busted rod holder.

Richard Bajakian told me you fish with the Dendoh 3000 and really like it. I am considering it over the LP. Any thoughts or comments that might help me decide? I like the idea you can crank it by hand if you want to and it's advertised to have more pulling power than you'd ever need. I was just curious if it is as good as they say. You are the only one I heard of that has one. I could use some input. Thanks. Harry

Harry... I WISH I had the MP3000! But I do have it's little brother, the TB1000 "Bull". And yes, it's a kick-azz little reel. If you want more info and comparison between the MP3000 and the LP S1200, try contacting Broadbill-Pro. I know he's been using the Daiwas for daytime swording.
