Default Fishing Trip Trade, L.I. Sound for FLA Sword'ing

OK, this is a long shot, maybe a very long shot.

My offer is this:

I will trade one day of fishing on the L.I. Sound for Stripers, Fluke, Bluefish, Blackfish, Sea Bass or Porgies for...............a trip on your boat to go night time Swordfishing.

OK, are you done laughing?? If not, I have a 25' Parker Sportcabin and know my local waters very well. My offer would apply to the months of June thru Nov.. I would recommend the species based on the season, but there are usually a few options. The larger Stripers run the whole season really.

I'll be down in the Delray Beach area from Feb 13th to 20th..

Let me know.

Thanks,

John

Wow, you guys are a very friendly group. I appreciate the offers. I'll drop another note when I get closer to that date.

I just got back from NC Giant tuna fishing and have the bug to tug on something big again.

Is Delray Beach far from where you guys fish?

You guys are getting me pumped. My vacation is two weeks away and I'm chomping at the bit. I'm actually in Boca right now on buisness but with only an hour or two to go to tackle shops. The weather is fantastic.

Other than BassPro in Dania, can you guys suggest some kick-butt tackle shops?

Otherwise, I'll send another note before I come down.

Thanks again guys.

Head South on Federal Hwy to 49th Street in Lighthouse Point (East side next to the Citgo Station).

RJ Boyle is the place to kill Presidents.

10 min drive from Boca

I made it to Custom Rod&Reel in Lighthouse Pt.. Tom Greene was an incredibly nice buy and he taught me a lot. Great shop. Wish we had something that good in CT..

The weather was incredible last week. Hope it holds when I come down for vacation in another 10 days.

Hi guys, I'm here and loving the warm weather. We barely made it in last night with the storms up North and here too. Glad to feel the wheels touch down late last night.

Anyway, if any of you guys have an open seat one of these nights, I'd be glad to come along. I just need to know when and where so the wife and kiddies can make alternate plans.

Regards,

John

Quack Quack: I'm too darn busy for the 20 person Sword boat I think you're heading out on tonight. It sounds like fun. Oh well, if nobody goes out while I'm still here there's always next year.

Nick C: Thanks for the recommendation. I stopped by Ray's Offshore and met Ed. I spend a couple bucks and we chatted about Ed's home state, CT. Great store !!

I got one of those cool "Disco" LP lights for night Swording up in the NEast Canyons. Too bad I have to wait about 5 months to put it into use.

Quack Quack: Nice fish ! Lots of meat on a fish like that.

I tried hitting RJ Boyle yesterday, but he was closed.
