Guidelines:
  • Must Be An SFC Forum Member (Minimum 10 Post Required To Submit Photo/Entry)
  • Fish must be caught between December 1, 2007 and February 28, 2008
  • Rod & Reel Only
Entry Requirements: (Post In This Thread)
  • Date Caught
  • Several Photos (at least 2,the more photos of your fish, the easier it is to judge).
  • The photos MUST be posted with your entry in this thread. (If you need help posting pictures, just ask..)
  • Provide Length and Girth (Formula Will Be Applied For Estimated Weight)
  • Provide Details Including Bait Used, Length of Fight, Depth Of Bite, City or Port
  • HMS Reported #
Judges For Contest:

The following judges will go over the entries and award 1 winner at the end of the contest. All entries are based on the honor system, so please do no submit old photos.

Note: Judges are permitted to enter, and will be scored by the remaining judges and SFC community.

Information:

The Special Series is the traditional workhorse of the Everol series of reels. With its multidisc, forced air cooled floating drag system and five double shielded stainless steel ball bearings, the Special Series is ready to take on anything that swims. The Special Series are made using only the finest anticorrosive components( Anticorodal 3571 which is turned by CNC machines then gold anodized with stainless steel AISI 316).

-the traditional Everol drag system with a graduated scale on a striking blue sideplate

-unique drag stop system which allows the angler to place the maximum drag position anywhere along the arc of the drag lever

Caught and released 12/26/2007. It was hooked around the 13 and the 50. There is a report in the reports section. The fish wasn't measured because we knew it was going to be a release. I think the second picture is bad azz, but maybe it is just because I took it.

Fish Caught 1-25-08, on the Catch My Drift, angler name Mike
fish was 67x38,caught on the 200 foot tip, squid bait, fight time 90 minutes
