Instead of ridiculing those taking the breeders, lets try and work on getting a slot limit or something of this type (just like snook). Although the commercial guys to our north will always make up for what we dont catch.

How many are you guys really seeing doing the daytime drop and pulling up big breeders? i have been out a few times now (haven't caught one, did have bites), but had the whole 50 line to myself each time.. during the week.

I would think that many will start doing the daytime thing, but in honest truth it is expensive and a lot of work espeically without electrics.

My neighbor is friends with a longliner from high school that fishes the new england waters. He has seen pictures where the boat is full of 300 pound plus fish after a few days of fishing.

We really need to focus in on those guys, but quota is quota.

Just my .02

That man is the scum of the Earth!! He's already been busted for selling Sailfish as meat-fish about 15 years ago out of the Marriott Marina in Miami.

He embodies every behavior and ethic that a sport-fisherman or conscientious commercial fisherman will condemn or better-yet REPORT when observed!!

F*** "Mark The Shark"...I'll bet HE came up with that cute name, I wonder if he thinks it makes his dick bigger...
