Default Fall/Winter time Swordfishing?

I thought swording would be on fire during the fall and winter months? It seems very dead on this forum for some time now. When could we expect things to pick up?

I thought they would be chewing too. Maybe it has something to do with all of the windy weather we have had. Folks may not be getting out as much. I plan to give it a try tonight.

yep. its been consistently too rough to get out there unless you have a big boat. Most of us are in 30 foot and less center consoles which in my opinion needs to be somewhat calm to enjoy a night out there. Belive me I have the itch very bad.

Good luck. I changed my mind. I spoke to someone off of Jupiter in 130' and they said it was a very close 3-4 and building. It may be different down your way.

Definately a weather thing. I have heard from people fishing locally they are definately chewing. I tried to get out wed night and it was 4 to 6 easy definately fishable but I was in a 23 ft. My friends were not feeling it.

It's the weather. Those who've ventured out have done well. The fish are bigger on average this time of year too.

I am going Wednesday night. Gonna work the Canyon off Triumph.

Wed, Thanksgiving and Friday look doable.

Tight lines and high tides!!
