Because of the impending rain situation and rain/wind situation that are affecting our area now and are expected to continue to worsen, the tournament committee for the X-Generation Haulover Swordfish Tournament has made the final decision to postpone both the kickoff party and the fishing day. The new date of the kickoff party is Friday June 15 and the fishing day is the following Saturday June 16. The kickoff party is just too good to jeopordize it with rain.
Registration will remain open throughout these next few weeks and we will start the process again the week of the 15th this month. We hope to see you all there at the party and the tournament. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or call me. My email address is m.lambrechts@hauloverswordfish.com and my phone number is 954 830 0133. In the meantime, we hope everybody will be participating in the great upcoming events before our tournament - like the Ladies Fishoff (if it fishes) and Jamie Bunn's tournament next weekend. We will take this hiatus to participate in them ourselves. Thanks again to everybody supporting the tournament and the Broadbill Circuit. We look forward to working with you later this month. I will post a new pregame thread the week of the tournament. Mike Lambrechts Broadbill Circuit X-Generation Haulover Swordfish Tournament

We'll cross that bridge if we have to. For now, it is what it is and his is happening before mine and I don't have a problem with it. If I have to rearrange dates again, I won't complain. Sure, it's a PITA, but it's part of the job. I'm not the one to complain about everything. I've already seen enough of that.

Nestor,
Early registration pertained to the original entry date. Now until the tournament happens is normal registration.

To all:
The registered vessels in the tournament now all decided they wanted to fish on the 16th and have the kickoff party on the 15th. I have decided to honor that. The tournament WILL NOT be on the 30th, but the 16th. I didn't realize we had one free weekend in between everything. The tournament will take place on June 16 with the kickoff party on the 15th. Sorry for the changes, but I had no choice but to honor the requests of my registered boats.

Drew puts on a first class tournament and has a pretty loyal following. His tournaments are the first ones I pencil in. I don't know if I can swing two weekends in a row, but I definitely won't miss the Hydraglow tournament.

I like the new date (6/16) better than postponing it an entire month. I like the moon phase better too. We're (team finstastic) fishing both.
Looking forward to the tourneys and meeting you folks and kicking back some beverages. High tides! Juan |
