Default What is this, an SFC Tournament, possibility?

Mike:

If you are thinking about organizing an SFC Tournament, with a floating date, that is great. But the plans must materialize fast, and if the date floats, it must accomodate those that can execute on that date and also be forgiving for those that cannot be out there on that date. That may complicate the purse by conventional thinking, but in reality It IS simple, providing you think outside of the bait-box.

I am hoping to get out a few times during the holiday time frame among various boats. I just hope that this does not some how pinch on those plans. You know me, I try to be helpful where-ever I go. But however it goes, I am kind of interested: balance...

Although I must say that if you are good in the pits (racing terminology), that Chummin has a lot of seasoning under his belt. You know he runs a tight ship and no slacking, right? Oh, no bookies.

I would suggest that there not be a super restrictive time limit to the scales on account of any swordfishing vessels that cannot make it back to port in an expedient fashion. aarg pirate ships may be out there, not out to plunder but slow to port. Oh, the honor system! Ooooh, When the purses are small the honor system seems to work without much complicacion.

After all that sword rattling today, it seems like some people are determined to catch a BIG fish and outperform others that seem to be a favorite, not to mention too many names in particular.

Perhaps, think about putting 10% of total entry fees toward the PSAT tag idea you are try to motivate.

Well, a few thoughts from this perspective. I hope some people come home to visit and get lucky with the broads (on the dark side), perhaps on the sunnyside too. RT

Default Yes

Yes, But if you want to make your opinion noted, you must still CHOOSE.

Chose Man, Choose, then pick your boat.

Just remember that the Pirate ships may have the beautiful broads on board. irat:

RT, are you gonna compete against me now after all those nights out there on the Itallian Stallion? (Final Point just happens to be an Itallian cruiser). Nothing wrong with some friendly competition. I am rooting for you to land a big one on the sail boat (but I am rooting for myself to get a bigger one of course).

Default Crossed wires, untangle, untangle...

Hey Pat:

We are crossed on the wires here. Read your post. We must be busy typing at the same time. Hell, I thought I had posted first.

I would rather go fishing first, then consider the tournament. Can we bring a friend? Kai.

But I reserve the right to be very capable to go out swordfishing by means that are within my control, should the EXCELSIOR possibilities not be readily available at a time most desparately needed.

Let's go fishing, did I just say fishing, I mean catching, and big ones at that. RT

Default That's not very sportsmanslike, at least give them a chance.

Make the checks payable to who : ChumminwithChunk, not just any Joe.

It must be nice to know all the good spots to drift around. Do they always have baits nearby?

There must be a little bit of luck involved, shouldn't there be? Oh, that and I tight ship.

Chum and LTRN together is to dominating of a combo to comprehend. Either the rules for the tourney specifically ban such an unfavorable advantage or we will consider withdrawing from the competition. We'll still be fishing but can't imagine competing with that unholy catching alliance.

I think they might bag a Blue instead on the way out.

Default A grand slam ain't bad: Blue M., Sail and Sword

A great salad is not complete without a good seasoned Italian with Oil and vinegar.

Stir it up, Mon. Toss it, Shake it and "Sword" Rattle it. Make it a grand slam.

Correction: Maybe the check will be made payable to "Bud" Lite........ instead of your favorite Joe. Wait, wait here comes another contender.

But I think the odds of the Itallian Stallion bumping into "Elvis" are mounting to favoring odds. Someone is certainly going to have some Chunk billfish to throw on that salad Mon.
