Anglers, In the interest of making the best event possible and for the safety of all anglers, Captain Peeples will be making the call on Saturday morning Oct. 7th as to whether you fish this Saturday or next Saturday Oct. 14th. We will post this information by 10 am. Oct. 7th, on this site.

For the anglers that have already registered, they will get a telephone call with the tournament status. Registration will be extended for those who still wish to enter the tournament, up until 3 pm Oct. 7th by calling 954-523-1004. You can download an entry form from A Child Is Missing site, fill out, sign and fax to 954-523-0607 by 3PM.

We encourage you to come to the Gosling Captain's meeting to register your boats and receive your Gosling Rum-Starbrite buckets and have fun Caribbean style. You'll meet the Gosling girls!

Our tables are set up to have a $20 entrance fee for all NON-Anglers and NON-registered anglers. Your $20 entrance fee will be returned to you, if you should decide to register on Saturday. Please call the A Child Is Missing office Monday for refund, 954-763-1288.

KC - thank you for your comments. We also hope that both events proceed safely as planned.

We wish everyone fishing Good Luck!

Default Tournaments please respond

edk asked valid questions. I hope someone from the tournament[s] answers them particularly the bouy gear question. Is either of the events saying bouy gear can be used in the tournament?

Yes important questions: I currently have the answers to #2 and #3.

#2 Yes fishing with the EEZ is OK.

#3 Typo...no electric reels or buoy gear are allowed.

Don't see anything confusing about his post?? specially since this is a thread about the Dusk to Dawn tourney, and you already knew that kitty
was at the Capt meeting last night passing out info...

Well then just share that with us. Ed brought up valid points IMO.

Thanks for the update. Good news on the buoy gear. It looks like the weather might give us a break.

Good luck to everyone fishing this weekend.

A Child Is Missing, Inc. would like to thank all of the anglers who signed up to fish both tournaments tonight. You truly have the spirit.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to Keith, who made an extremely generous donation to our charity on behalf of the Sail Club at the Gosling Captain's party this evening. You are a class act. If I personaly can assist your club in any way in the near future, just ask. You rock Keith. Thank you for bringing your lovely wife.

Anglers, remember it's not to late to sign up both tournaments. JD dubbed our two tourney's "Adopt a Misssing Swordfish Tournament". Thanks JD, I like it!

Please call 954-523-1004 until 3PM for late Dusk To Dawn entries.

Good luck everyone!

What a night! I'm pooped. All the Best. Tiffany

Default Relentless 33 with another one in the boat

Or should we say on the dock?

Amazing,

Some very large fish caught last night: Official details will be reported soon.

But imagine fish like 303, 297, 284, 165, 133. All unofficially and I did not take note of the boats. I think the 297, 165 and 133 were from D to D.

Frick N Frack had two nice fish in the boat: they decided to weigh one just for good measure.

Here is Dakotah Gould (Relentless 33) with his fish:
(Not sure, but that could be the number 2 place holder.

P.S. - That is Captain Jack to Relentless' right. He did not stay up past his bedtime. But when he heard me wake up this morning he asked where I was going? I asked my 10 year old son if he wanted to go to Fort Lauderdale Marina, but he was content with the comfort of his pillow; whereas my 3 year old said, Dad I want to go with you. After a little bit of back and forth with his Mama, he had his shoes on and ready to go. I guess we know which one may be the motivated fisherman. Although both are in the back catching small snappers as we speak. While the rest are probably getting ready for some sleep.
