Gotta give it up to Greg for "workin" that tip. Greg is having a hell of a year, winning $$ on everyone's boat!

Congrats to the stuff it II, Chasin Tail and the Jichi, they kicked arse out there. We were a couple of squid in the belly away from 3rd place. We had 2 releases and weighed a fish that weighed exactly 100lbs. It was fun and we were glad just to be up there near the top.

Congrats to all the winners. Sword Donkey fished with gssk7179 and other forum members get er done, 34 Intrepid, and surburbancammando420. We had a good showing getting third, but loosing on time and like gsk7170 said, loosing by one squid meal. ( our fish weighted 100 even) Was a great tourney with some impressive fish weighted. Bite was slow for most, but we got lucky with catching 2 of our 3 fish within 5 minutes of lines out on both nights.
FYI- a 61 inch fish weighted exactly 100lbs even. He was skinny and had two sardines in his belly. I'm gonna get redemption via grilled swordfish tonight. Capt.>T |

First time I fished in a tournament and pretty much stunk up the joint! Fished with a crew of 5 guys who combined have caught 89 swords the past two years but the bite was off for us. Two shark cut offs and one slashed squid night one and a close to 20 minute fight with a hammerhead one hour before lines out on Sat.
Damn, the way the shark was fighting, we all though the comeback with a fat Slob was underway. What a disappointment. That is 4 straight trips that I have been skunked. After shelling out the cash needed for the tourny along with the last two trips before the tourney, kinda getting discouraged.

New to the forum, but I wanted to thank the tournament folks and the boats and crews that let us take biological samples from seven fish at the tournament. Congrats to the winners!
