Broadbill 08/29-30 Double Header

Headed out of P.E. with a one timer. Last trip we caught three and boated two 56"ers and this trip proved more productive.
After a bit of drama with one of the engines, we found ourselves limping south with single/solo power and once we got the boat moving, we ran up on a string of boats on the 50 line. Continued south until we were clear of everyone and finally set up around 9:00 p.m.. Around 9:30, 200 ft. jug gets hit. Get tight and then slack for about a minute. Continue reeling and then the rod doubles over. FISH ON!!!!! 15 minutes in, thefish is within 50 feet and goes airbourne. Five minutes later, the shallow jug gets hit and we have a double header. 45 minutes(AND A SERIES OF CURSE WORDS LATER) we find ourselves double wrapped. Get fish #1 in the boat(75") and then cut the main line to free the other. Ten minutes later, slap an 83" on the deck. Both fish in the boat before 11:00 p.m. LIGHTS OUT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
