Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. What a crazy night with just two people on board and both fish were individually heavier than my fishing bud. First one on board I brought over the gunnel at the bow by myself. Needless to say after that I was pretty spent but no time for that, fatty #2 was still soaking. When she broke the surface, she looked like a mini-submarine. I've got some of the fight on video and many great pics which I'll put up in a sec.. If you guys and gals could have just seen the look on my buddies face when we finally landed both fish. WORTH A BILLION DOLLARS. To me, that's what it's all about.
Big thanks to Big Dan who showed up late night with brew and ice. Guy never fails to come through in the clutch. Thanks again for all the help with
the boat and fish etc.

Unreal. What a night. Engine problems, wrapped fish, and the ability to keep your cool and land both. Thats awesome. Did you come back on one engine? If so, it was probably the slowest and sweetest ride back ever.

I especially like the pic of the two burly, sweaty, tatooed guys smiling like five year olds. Thats what its about.

Seems like when things are less than ideal is when you score big time. Congrats, thats a really nice catch, specially with all the adversity!

QQ: You are right, I should have been more careful, and known that my words would be perverted by some. After all, isn't perversion of the English language what I specialize in?

(When I use the term "perverted" I am not referring to the sexual connotation. I am using it as a synonym for "distort." But I like the pun.)

See, I am learning to clarify myself already
