Got the spread out by 8:10 and fired up some burgers on the forman grill. At 8:15 225' jug starts screamin. At 8:20 we shut the grill of when we notice the smoke of burning burgers oops. At 8:30 there was dead fat 55" swordy on the deck. The best part was my buddies 14 year old whooped that fish's ass. His first 2 shots came 2 weeks ago when we missed 2 and I am glad he finally killed one. We had another freight train of a hit on a 300' squid but pulled the hook shortly after coming tight. Had 2 other hits but pulled hooks right after coming tight. We fished until 2 am but all of our action was early.
