Default 8-24-07 Another fatty on the Marauder1

Being that I start school again on monday, I had to get out to my second home atleast on more time. Conditions were good and the bite had been hot the previous night. Myself, Nick C, and Relentless33 departed Boca around 7 after some confusion at the dock and hauled out to the zone. Nick rigged some baits on the way out, and by sunset we had a full spread out. After drifting a few miles with no hits we began to wonder, there were some fish being reported on the radio. Soon after the middle jug goes down and Jr is on the rod. He gets crankin and then into the harness. After 20 minutes the fish starts actin like a marlin, jumping on the surface for over a minute, going in all directions, we all knew he was big, but could it really be a marlin? 10 minutes later after a crazy fight he swims by and gets two gaffs in the head and is pretty much beat . Guess it was not a marlin :roflmao: .Haul him through the door and before we can get lines out we get another on, then another. For the next few miles things happened fast, we had 4 others hooked up and landed 2 of them, 55 and 48, and had a few others playing in the spread that would not commit. One of the ones we pulled off was pretty beefy. After the action died down, we realized what time it was, and we already had some work to do so we pulled em in and headed home. Big fish taped out to 81 inches, but had a monster bill and some pink meat Enjoy

In the boat

He had Nicks name on him, but Jr caught him

Nick havin some fun

Coop: Thanks for an awesome trip out there last night bro.

Do we still have the pic of me in the beanbag up front? I was curious to how that turned out.

The one of the fish swimming away came out SICK email that to me when you get a chance.

You done well Jr. Glad you didn't get ripped out of the boat. Maybe 24lbs of drag with straight JB is a little too much for people under 100lbs ahahaha j/k!
