Not all cappy's in Kona are killing Marlin. Actually, most release. I released a 300lb recently. It was my first blue. That was my decision. If the fish was legal, the guys wanted the meat, pics and moment on their first blue...then more power to them. They will probably release their next one! Let them have their moment.
