Default Last night

Made it out again last night, Went 3 for 7 and caught one of those goofy cuban charks too. All fish that came to the boat were small and quickly released. Had something with shoulders stretch the string, and heat up the bearing grease in the 80 for about 15 mins before the hook pulled First time I've seen the 300 yd line transition since I spooled her up
First squidless trip for us as well....nice not hassling w/ riggin and dyeing and all that mess.

Lightbulb Gruntz

Haven't made the investment in the lures/lights etc to troll yet. Lookin forward to trying it between sets real soon. Big runoff we had was on a 1lb grunt Second bigger fish we've had scarf a grunt down. An old post w/ a picture of scrombroid sword stomach contents gave me the idea. The first one we had on the grunt we got too see @ the boat. It swam midship under the boat towin a purple light Now I'm thinkin that fish wasn't a fluke on that bait. Hopin to stay tight next time

DF... were y'all cruising NW past Boca at about 2am on your way to Boynton? Saw a boat cross our wake not too far behind us on our way in. Figured it was a sworder from Boynton.
