Took my father and uncle Joe out last night. Started by popping my uncle's cherry with a fat 52" pinky. We wound up 2-4-3 with a 48" realease. The one we lost swam right under the boat, about 150+lbs, and ate the bait my uncle was letting down. It smoked out about 100 yards off a bent butt 80, settled down for a few minutes and then flipped us the fin and was gone. We also had about 10 slashed baits and a few short hits. My first drift was inside on the 52 wich yielded 2 slashed baits. The majority of the action was on the 49.5 from moonrise until about 1 am.

Aaaaawwwwright Cappy! Congrats
Great action. That has been the trend this week. Let's hope it holds for the upcoming tourneys. Best, Juan |
