Headed out last night. After dodging some of the storms on our way out we set line at 9:00. We set half our spread and the long jug starts clicking then goes tight. Cleared the spread and 15 min later had a 45in pup at the boat with a healthy release. Get ready to set up again and start dropping the lines. Get one out, dropping the second and line goes slack. Reel tight and pull up a nice 35" dolphin. With a dolphin in the box we reset. 45min later short jug starts screaming. clear lines and the fight is on. 45 min later we see color and the fish takes off. My freinds brother is doing a great job fighting the fish. Get the fish to the wind-on, fish takes off again and pulls the hook. Before resetting we see a storm making its way towards us and decide its time to call it a night. So all in all, 3 1/2 hrs of fishing go 1/2 with a dolphin in the box, and a wet ride in.

Nice work. Talked to a guy coming in Boca while I was snook fishing. 1-2 (pup) and back in the inlet around 11.

Was out Friday night too. Fished south of Fowey on the 49. It was beautiful out there, almost smooth and we only got sprinkled on for a few minutes. However, the fishing was slow. We had a jug pop with our bonito bait and could not get tight, and had squid bait pop a jug and get slashed. Can't really even call it 0 for 2 because we never got tight with either hit.

We had squid and fliers in the light all night. Called it quits at 1:00 a.m. We're setting our eyes on the tournament.

High tides.

I fished that night on a 29 Donzi up off Boyton. We waited out the thunderstorms, cruised out at 55 mph, dropped 'em in, released a rat, had storms inbound, and ran home at 55 mph. That boat is quick. Didn't get much time out there. Also went out (day fishing) about an hour ago (only went this afternoon for a couple hours) and put a dolphin close to 30 lbs. in the boat and a few small kingfish.

We fished at the 26 09 to the 26 22 and ended the night with one 63" keeper. The North drift stayed out of the storms.
