Default Thursdays 5/10 and 5/3

Somehow, my report from last week got lost in translation??\
Anyways as in nice night thread was stated, we were 4/6 and a few slashed baits.

Last night we were met with a very very sloppy and confused ocean! They weren't that big so we continued onward. We got our 1st runoff 15 minutes into the drift and we came tight. 10 seconds later Tony, while fighting fish #1, deep short jug starts singin. We lost that one due to a pulled hook but managed to get the 1st to and inside the boat 49" dejavous from last week. About an hour later as I'm letting a line down, I felt a subtle stop and thump. I llet down a lil more and then slowly reeled and felt her bite. I let the line come tight and set the hook and started reelin. We got Benji harnessed up and he fought her to the end. We got her in, snapped a pic and let her go back to mother ocean. When we packed it in at 11 we reeled in 2 slashed baits, oh well! Recap 2/3 and a few slashed and a LONG SLOW ride home.

Darren

Barely...I thought the lighthouse was out until we got closer in. Smoke was thick Airplaines were flying unusually low last night.
