Default Jupiter Swordin 4/3

Met up with PlanB and Bruce at the ramp after last minute phone call (Thanks Adam ) and headed out. Greeted by calm seas and went southeast till about 110' and put out a trolling spread on the way out to the grounds. Troll out to about 600' and reel in the spread and haul much south. Went to 45 Square.
On the way out one boat lands a 50+lb Dolphin on 15lb test. Right after we stop the boat we see two big Dolphin jumping way high out of the water, pretty cool to see against the sunset (I still say it was a Sailfish ). Get the lines out and wait.

Hear of one boat releasing a 50" and landing a 60". Moon rises up finally about an hour after sunset. Saw a pretty good size school of squid around the boat. My first time seeing that.

30 minutes after the moon rise the long jug starts acting lively. Jug starts moving right and then glowstick on the surface (It was one of those huge Momoi glowsticks with a freakin three foot long squid, BEAST!). Finally get tight on the fish and work him towards the boat. Peels off a little line and pulls the hook. That was the end of our action. Heard some boats getting fish later on. Pulled lines at 12.

Thanks a lot John and Bruce for taking me, it was a lot of fun. Great stories and wisdom

Sounds like there's definetely some fish around. Well done, considering that bites are scarce in our area.
