Good story. UB and I have a little mix up abd got our stuff tangled... UB is about to unclip his light when WHAM!!!!! He stops thet hard hit dead in it's tracks. I throw the gloves on thinking it's the pup we saw in the light 20 seconds ago. I Leader the fish out from under the boat reach for the bill, then the whole boby comes out. I figure me being 100lbs soaking wet prolly shouldn't bill and green 58-60"er, so Eric hits him with a straight gaff with no thought about it. . We looked at how it was hooked and anymore than 4lb of pressure and the hook pulled right out!!! We got real lucky there!!!
This was about 20 minutes after Snookit tossed my Seamater disco in the drink as a "donation"(good thing it wasn't my double!!!)
