How deep was the one bite? Was there any bait out deep off Palm beach/ Jupiter?

I appreciate the info, I have not been out in a couple of months and was looking forward to getting out for real and breaking my my new boat in properly. It sounds pretty slow in this area. Thats not exactly what I wanted to hear, but at least I will have something to look in the lights. Has anyone tried any different depths up towards Jupiter. It seems like we all stick in that 1300-1600' zone. I keep looking at that 2100+ area on the bathy charts and wondering...

I have tried it and yes there are fish out there. Just seems like we get more in the 1200-1600 zone to not make the run out, but with the way the water quality looked on WED night, it may be the place to be!!!

I appreciate the feedback. It will be good just to get out there. Have you heard anybody do anything inshore of 1200'?

Occasionally, but most wont venture to much shallower than 1000. I generally always fish deeper than most, but thats me

I have caught fish to 900 (actually had a hot bite in around 900). I am sure there are plenty of fish all the way to at least 600 feet. We catch them in 350-400 feet in the Canyons off the Northeast.
