Default 2/2/07 swordin

well just got back home. went fishing with phi597 and snooksandreds, hooked into a 56 inch fish. fought it for about 1hr and went home as the weather started to pick up.

1st keeper fish for me. 2/2 on 2 trips so far~! anyways here are some pics...

Enjoyed it guys, we'll have to do it again sometime soon. Ivan, hope the back isnt too sore today. I mean I've never seen someone work so hard to get 6". If the rubber band even move that much. lol.

ivan i think that the rubberband must have been passed through that second roller 20 times in a few minutes

since they didnt say it heres the story.
we set up drift with three lines. drift for a while check baits and 2/3 are slashed
set the spread back out, sitting back BS-ing and the first jug gives a little click....play with it and get tight. while ivan is putting on the harness i keep tight. but the harness wont go on ivan so he grabs the rod and with just a waist rod holder and goes to work!! put one hell of a hurting on the fish for not having a harness.

Ivan11 congates on your sword ... thats the same I did .. bought my harness right after got my first ... try out different harnesses at the store ..to make sure your comfortable in it ... most important ! just wish I can get out again and get another sword .. looks like your hooked on this like me

ty guys, ya i just tried on the braid harness/belt and a black magic harness and belt. i liked the black magic a bit better for me then the braid, its got some longer straps so its very adjustable to my big ass body =p

Hey Ivan ,,Iguess we are on the same page ... I wound up buying the black Majic Harness ... now only if I can get me a big sword I`ll be Happy... plus it also comes with a carrying bag that sealed the deal for me ! Willi

well we were running south and the wind was blowing at an angle. it was like 4-6 so the waves would break over the bow and blow all the water on me and i was completely soaked, i had mentioned i wish i had goggles!
