Default nothing drift report

The "Nothing drift" produced for us once again. On the maiden voyage of the new and improved Hawgdawg, we scored another decent fish off west palm. She was 77in fl/lj, 44in girth, hit the 200ft tip rod. first fish on the 201 rod I won on the raffle. Thanks Ray. I got a pic in the 200lbs gallery. How do i put it under this thread?

Great job that is the way to break in a rod That makes me very happy Ray put some good mojo in that rod when he made it.It is funny I keep seeing more and more guy's from the 201 trip going into the 200 and 300lb club.

fab, totally bitchin' on the rod report. on another note i'd like to thank ANDY at XTREME RODS for the blanks. it was one of the 80# stand-up blanks he recomended and provided. im sure it was a good fight, how was the action... (on the rod i mean). Ray

Ray, the rod worked just as you said. Very sensitive on the tip, but plenty of backbone for leverage. It is a far superior rod compared to some of the other junk I have. I put that alutecnos 50 on it, and that is also an ubelievable reel, very very smooth. Love the set up.
